I think if people are going to be single issue voters and make one issue the most important issue so that they disregard all other issues in favor of that one then their life should match that and should reflect the importance of that issue showing how much it impacts them beyond just voting.
That's just my opinion.
At the same time I think there is a danger in thinking that the future of our nation, in regards to certain issues, boils down to politics and who we elect. Instead I think the church should realize the power we have if we stay united in putting our resources and voice toward common purposes and goals, doing the actual work that is needed instead of just depending on how we vote and getting upset when the elections don't go our way.
